Nicolette is a trailblazer in the financial services industry, who uses her circle of influence to promote change, align people through a common vision, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Her motto in life is - make a difference where you stand. This is an ethos, which she puts into practice daily and seeks to impart on those who she engages with in the various areas she impacts.

She believes that individuals have a pivotal role to play in our country that starts with making a difference in the lives of our current generation. As a mentor to students and young professionals, Nicolette is committed to developing leaders that will one day shape the future of the Financial Services industry and make a valuable contribution to the broader society.

Nicolette holds an MBA (UCT) and is a qualified chartered accountant and registered auditor, servicing clients in and outside the financial services industry. She is also the recipient of the Western Cape Positive Role Model: Trailblazer in the 2020 Annual 8th Gender Mainstreaming Awards.

As a chartered accountant, she will share her knowledge to support individuals to understand their finances better and empower them to leverage their financial information to sustain and grow their business.

Karen Morris is past owner of Kevjar Accounting and a partner at Morris FS.

Karen is a practising accountant and general tax practitioner by profession with over 20 years’ experience assisting companies with. their accounting, financial and tax elements. She works closely with. her clients from the budget setting through to signing off of their financial statements and various tax submissions.

Karen takes time with clients to improve their accounting and financial obligations and assists with future strategies where required. She is often required to take on businesses with no accounting or financial policies and sets the processes for future success.

Training and Lecturing
As a qualified accounting teacher, Karen has often worked with various companies “non-financial” staff to ensure that employees. and managers with no formal financial or accounting background or knowledge, are given an insight into the importance of this department within organisations.

Public Speaking & Author
Karen has spoken at various conferences within the wellness industry regarding the importance of budgeting and positive cash flow and has written various bookkeeping manuals for distance learning facilities within South Africa.

Karen the entrepreneur
In 2013 Karen purchased her first Camelot Spa franchise, turning this spa into an extremely profitable business within 6 months. She has since purchased a further 3 franchises and has successfully navigated the COVID period.
